Q. Can I submit my loan servicing inquiries using the website?
A. Yes, by selecting the Contact Customer Service
link and providing the required information, you will be able to contact us
electronically with your questions or concerns. You will receive a written
response or phone call within 24 – 48 hours of receipt of your request.
Q. Who do I contact for answers to questions about the
servicing of my loan?
A. Your loan will be serviced by Plaza Home Mortgage, Inc.
However, please keep in mind that your loan will be
transferred to a new servicer within 30 to 60 days after closing.
Please call the Customer Service Department toll free at 1-866-241-7283 between
the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time, Monday through
Friday.
Q. What is your mailing address to send payments or written
correspondence?
A. You may send items to Plaza Home Mortgage, Inc. at 5090 Shoreham Pl.
#206, San Diego, CA 92122, Attn: Loan Servicing.
Q. Will my loan be transferred?
A. Plaza typically transfers loans within 30 to 60 days after closing.
You will be notified of the transfer in writing when this happens. Please make
all payments to Plaza Home Mortgage, Inc. until notified to do otherwise.
Q. I’ve received a Transfer Sale of Loan Notice, what do I do?
A. The Transfer Sale of Loan Notice informs you that your loan is being
transferred to a new servicer. Please take time to read the letter carefully as
it contains specific information about the new servicer of your loan as well as
instructions about when to begin making your payment to the new servicer,
including where to mail your payment. Additionally, the Transfer Sale of Loan
Notice contains the new servicer’s customer service hours, toll free telephone
number and mailing address for written correspondence.
Q. I just received notification that my loan is being
transferred and I made my payment to Plaza instead of to the new servicer. What
will happen to my payment?
A. When your check is received by Plaza, your account will be reviewed
to assess whether Plaza or the new servicer is to receive the funds. If the new
servicer is to receive the funds, Plaza will endorse and forward your check via
overnight mail to the new servicer for processing.
Q. How do I request a payoff statement on my loan?
A. You may fax your written request to 858-677-6741 or send your written
request to Plaza Home Mortgage, Inc. at 5090 Shoreham Pl. #206, San Diego, CA
92122, Attn: Loan Servicing.
